My take on the outright stupidity of the socialist left!

Socialists-Americans showing their "PATRIOTISM" in California

Do our socialists believe in our democracy?  Do you really think so?

I would tend to believe that their philosophy is more along the lines of “Free Speech for all…as long as you agree with us!”

Need proof?   Look at the riots going on today in California.  They aren’t rioting because their government took away the right for gay marriage.  They aren’t protesting a Supreme Court decision that outlaws the practice.

No, these so called “lovers of America”…these “patriots”…these self righteous “protectors” of democracy are protesting what the majority of Californians (and Americans for that matter) want….a ban on gay marriage.

It’s quite evident that California people have made up their minds.  Be gay….but don’t expect your life choice to be melded into our society.

You cannot call it ‘homophobia”….well, you can, but you are a fool if you do.  California isn’t called “The land of Fruits and Nuts” for nothing.  That’s why the vote on Tuesday was so surprising….and so clearly and unmistakably loud.  If the PEOPLE in the land of fruits and nuts says NO to gay marriage, what is the rest of the PEOPLE of this country going to say about it?

But look deeper into the rioting protests.  Look at what these socialists are saying about themselves.  They are saying “We want what the majority of people DO NOT want!” and more importantly, “We don’t care what the majority of the people want!”

Do they really want to tell us how much they love our land of democracy?   Do they really want us to believe they are patriots?   Why do they get offended when people like myself call into question the “Love for America” when they act like this?

Look at the real lovers of democracy….people like me.   No, I didn’t like the outcome of the election on Tuesday, but I respect the fact that the MAJORITY of Americans wanted Barack Obama as the next president.

Now, look at the socialists in California.  As soon as they are through throwing their child-like tantrums, they will be hiring their lawyers, looking for the FEDERAL GOVERNMENT, mostly our court systems, to overturn the election results.   While I am clinging to my guns and my religion, they are looking for BIG BROTHER to come through for them.

I love this democracy!   Do you?   Really???!!!???

With Apologies to Mel Brooks!

Updated “BLAZING SADDLES” lines and how to relate them to BARACK OBAMA.

"Look dear, it’s Osama!"

"That's 'OBAMA'!"

"Well, since I am your host and you are my guest, what would you like to do?"

"I dunno.....redistribute wealth?  Screw?"

"I think we better redistribute wealth!"

"Dang Mr. Obama....you use your tongue purdier than a $20 whore"

"These are people of the land….the common clay of the new age socialism.   You know?   Morons"

"We fought Indians! Fought plagues!  Fought Tornadoes!  Fought Ayers!  Remember when William Ayers came in, and tried to blow up the town?"

"Don't know!  Colin only pawn in game of life"

“So tell me, is it twue on what they say about you false messiahs being ‘gifted’?   IT’S TWUE!  IT’S TWUE!  IT’S TWUE!  IT’S TWUE!”

“Well raise my taxes!  You are the messiah!”

“OH LORD, WILL HE BE ABLE TO INCREASE SPENDING BY ABOUT A TRILLION DOLLARS WITHOUT INCREASING THE FEDERAL DEFICIT?   Or is he just jerking off?”

“Watch that ‘boy’ shit, redneck!  You’re talking to the MESSIAH!”

“OK!  We’ll let in the Illegal Aliens and fundamentalist Muslims!  BUT NO UNWANTED BABIES!!!!”

“I’d like you to meet the new President of the US”

“Very glad to meet you….WHOA!   Come here, I need to talk to you!  Are you crazy?  Can’t you see that guy is a socialist…..oops….my apologies…nothing personal….”

THINK before you VOTE!

It happens inside of every commune.  No person is ever any better off than the next.  There is no individualism.  Everyone’s mere existence is for the betterment of the commune.

The farmer, who developed a better way to raise the crops, isn’t rewarded.  No matter how successful his idea was.  He is still just a member of the commune.

The carpenter, who builds the best houses in the commune, isn’t rewarded for his back-breaking work.  She is still just another member of the commune.

The doctor, who heals the wounds and treats the diseases, isn’t rewarded.  He is still just another member of the commune.

The engineer, who designs the bridges that will span between rivers and across mountain peaks, for the safe travel of the inhabitants of the commune, isn’t rewarded.  She is still just another member of the commune.

There is no risk.  There is no reward.  There is no “class” within the commune…..except for the “ruling class” leader of that commune.

He will eat of the food produced by the farmer, yet not single out the farmer for his splendid work.

He will live in the finest house built by the carpenter, without even acknowledging the carpenters existence.

He will be treated by the doctor for his infirmaries, even if it means others will die.

He will use the bridge build by the engineer, and “punish” the engineer if he gets too much credit.

Welcome to the “Commune”-ist States of America, where you will be punished for your hard work, disregarded for your brilliant ideas, forsaken for keeping everyone in good health and advancing the commune.

You are nothing special, unless you belong in the “ruling class” inter-circle.  If you aren’t in that circle, then you are nothing but a “working class” member of that commune.

Do these terms sound familiar?  If you are over the age of 30, they should.  They are the very terms used by the former Soviet Union in descriptions of their people.  If you weren’t a “Party Member”, then you were just “working class”.

THINK before you VOTE!

A Few Predictions

I am continually amazed that in spite of having the access to almost any bit of information we need in forming our opinion on which candidate we are going to vote for on November 4th, Americans are still under the spell of Barrack Obama….a spell that has even been cast over Colin Powell.

I can see the future as clear as a bell under an Obama presidency.  Unlike some, like the woman in the North Carolina diner who said she was voting for Obama because she “...liked the way he talked”, I would rather use my brain and look for the substance of Obama, and not the style of Obama.

I would rather look and see what happens when a tax and spend democrat gets into the oval office, with his minions backing him in the U.S. Congress.  No, I don’t have to go back to FDR.  I just have to go back to Jimmy Carter (1977-1981).  I won’t bore you with what was going on during his tax and spend administration….I would rather you do your own research.  But let me just say, in spite of the Obama rhetoric and the socialists who support him, things CAN be a lot worse than what they are now (If you don't believe me, look at our economy under Carter....I dare you).

I am so convinced that Obama is the worst choice of the two candidates that I am willing to make a few predictions for the world to see (at least the part of the world who is reading this).  Please take note that it is October 20, 2008, a full 2 weeks and 1 day before the 2008 presidential elections.

I predict that if Obama is elected:

-         that between November 5th and December 31 of 2008, a massive sell-off of stocks in the market (through investors avoiding Obama’s capital gains tax increase that is looming);

-         that by September of 2009, American independents (the very ones who elected Obama) will come to the realization that he does not possess the magic button that will take away all of our problems.  They will instead realize just how much worse their problems are;

-         that within one year of Obama’s inauguration,  he will reverse his promise and raise the taxes on the middle class (min. of $42,000/year)  to pay his increased spending and the subsequent increase in our deficit;

-         that the GDP will fall off by at least 5% in his first year in office (hard for companies to keep people working and producing when they are having to pay all of Obama’s taxes);

-         that unemployment will hit between 7-8% in his first year (see above)

-         that interest rates for homes will escalate to 6-8% (banks will tighten their lending criteria and put a premium on the money they do lend);

-         that Al Qaeda will re-emerge in Iraq, after he pulls us out;

-         that within 3 years of his taking the oath of office, we will suffer through another terrorist attack on our soil;

-         that a potential nuclear standoff will occur with Pakistan;

-         that Republicans will reclaim the majority of both houses by the time of the mid-term elections in 2010.

Obama can declare war on “big business’ all he wants to.  What he fails to realize is that “big business” is who most of us work for…for now anyways (keeping in mind that his definition of “big business” are those businesses that net in excess of $250,000).  His war declaration on them is in actuality going to cost Americans, a lot more than the measly $500 welfare check most of us will receive.

I’m still hung up on Obama’s answer he gave to Bill O’Reilly, when O’Reilly asked him about the increase in taxes hurting the economy.  Obama’s response was a classic one:  “That’s the old way of thinking, Bill”.  Oh really?  Is that like me saying that since gravity was around when I was a kid, I don’t have to concern myself with it now?  Is a natural force called “gravity” an old way of thinking?

Or does the example of people jumping off bridges still prove that gravity is still a natural occurrence and results can be predicted when you try to disprove it?

It’s the same natural occurrence when you take money away from our economy and expect great things to happen.

It’s just not natural.

I should be all too familiar!

Conservatives are in an uproar!  The government is taking steps to improve the economy, yet calls of “SOCIALISM” are raining down on 1600 Pennsylvania Avenue on how the president was helping the businesses of this country and NOT the people.

Sound familiar?  It should.  It happened back in 1933 when President Franklin Delano Roosevelt introduced his “NEW DEAL” for America, aimed at getting us out of a depression and back on our feet.

When President Bush announced his $700 Billion investment (I refuse to call it a “bailout” because we do expect a return when the housing market rebounds), I was like all conservatives in that I worried about a “socialist” decision taking this country down a slippery slope.  I'm not worried about it anymore.

The move was a socialist move to save our capitalist system.

When someone posed the question to me about the difference between an Obama handout and the Bush investment, I had to look no further than the Roosevelt years and the NEW DEAL.  The similarities between FDR and Bush are just too striking to not address.  The only difference is that Bush addressed the problem before it became a full scale depression, while Roosevelt had to react to a depression.

FDR took federal money and implemented government programs designed to put people to work.  It wasn’t a hand out.  People didn’t sit at home, wait for their check from the government and then go out and spend it.  He in essence told them, the government is going to provide the opportunity to provide for you and your families by creating jobs…J-O-B-S (3 letters…according to Joe Biden).

Now, let’s look at what Bush has invested in.  He has invested in NOT allowing companies to go belly up (unlike the 1929 stock market crash).   He has invested in giving money to the very businesses that plan on keeping their employees (instead of them being added to the unemployment rolls), stabilizing the markets that some of us are a) investing in, and/or b) have our retirement savings invested in.

Do you want to slam Bush on his economic policies?  Then slam him on his deficit spending.  His tax cuts WORKED (evidence just one year ago, when our unemployment rate was about 4.5% and our markets were at an all time high….above 14,000 for the Dow Jones Industrial Average).   THAT’S IT!  You can’t slam him on the housing collapse when it was democratic representatives in Congress and in the White House (both Carter and Clinton) who clamored for “affordable housing”, where groups like ACORN were forcing banks to loan money to those who couldn’t afford to pay it back.

The moves made by both FDR and GWB are socialist moves, with capitalist spin on them.  They both are designed at moving our economy along on a national scale.  Giving $500 to you and I, and every family (including those who do not lift a finger to put money back into the coffers) is a handout, and is a short term relief but a long term bust.

When our markets start seeing that housing prices have stabilized, then companies and people, will start putting their money back into it…just like it did about 1937, when our unemployment rate went back to pre-crash level, as did our stock market.

It worked for FDR and the NEW DEAL.   It will work for us today…as long as Obama is not increasing taxes and taking money away from the economy!

Black Conservatives are no longer an oxymoron

When the initial announcement was subsequent personal attack first happened to Sarah Palin, the confirmation hearings of Supreme Court Justice Clarence Thomas came to my mind.  Missing from all of the slanderous rhetoric coming from the socialist left was the history that was being made:  Conservative thinking is now being adopted by all walks of life.  That’s right!   Conservatives aren’t just the rich white men any longer.

The initial responses from the socialists in any issue are character assassinations.   It happened with Governor Palin, just as it did with Justice Thomas.  It happened because neither of these people fit the “stereotypical socialist” that reigns within their movements.  Palin and Thomas have succeeded in spite of their sex and race.  They refused to be victims.

Since they refused to be victims, they in essence took power away from the socialists who feed upon victims and crave the power to “bring about change’ for them.  These two examples of conservative thought dispel any notions that the conservatives of this nation are “racist” and “sexist”.    Thomas and Palin have disarmed the socialists in the basis of race and gender….all they have left now is the personal character attacks.

What is particularly appalling to me is among the black conservatives.  They are labeled “Uncle Toms” by the socialist black movement, for nothing more than refusing to join the cause.  They have rejected Affirmative Action, they have embraced capitalism, and they have rejected a life long dependence on the federal government, choosing instead to take the hard road….the road most of us have to take in this life, the road of self reliance and self sufficiency.

They chose to be Americans.  Not black Americans, but Americans who happen to be black.  And if you can’t see the difference, then save yourself the time and don’t bother reading any of the rest of this, because you just don’t get it, and you probably never will.

Am I saying that there is no racism?  No!  There is racism on every front in this country.  Most of it is coming from our black leaders.  Do you really think that Jesse Jackson wants us all to pitch in and help each other because we are all Americans?  Or does he feel that the blacks in this country are entitled to special treatment because they are black?  What about Louis Farrakhan?  Al Sharpton?  Are they advocating coexistence or are they advocating special treatment for blacks (and becoming quite wealthy while they are doing it)?

Thank GOD for black conservatives!  They get it!  They get what the American dream is all about.  They have overcome a lot to believe what they believe, most notably pressure from within their own race.  I know quite a few blacks and just like in any race, there are good people and bad people.  I don’t begrudge them one bit for being black.  I do begrudge them when they want me to feel guilty about being white.  I do begrudge them for labeling me a “racist” because I refuse to pander to their victimization.  What my great-grandfather did to their great-grandfather should not be held against me.

Black conservatives get this.

I only know of one black conservative and I only know him from an internet message board that we both frequent.  It’s a sports board, but the occasional political thread does break out.  He is from Texas and an avid University of Texas fan (I kid him by calling them the fake UT, whereas my University of Tennessee being the real UT).  In a recent topic started, someone pointed out the fact that black people who are voting for Barrack Obama are only voting for him because of his race.

My friend politely informed this misguided poster that he was a black man who has no intention of voting for Obama and had every intention of voting for John McCain.   It was then that I started thinking that I have noticed black conservatives are starting to become more vocal.  From Alan Keyes unsuccessful run for the republican nomination, to the man who blasted John McCain last week for not attacking Obama’s socialist future for America.

My friend has opened himself to a few questions from me.  My curiosity arose because I wanted to know what exactly it was that made him a black conservative.  As expected, he has overcome a lot of pressure and stereotype to be a conservative thinker.

“My mother would say, ‘This is not the child I raised.’", he says.

He is not a victim of his race and will not portray himself as one and in doing so, has weakened that argument of the socialist movement in America.  The only thing they have left is the name calling.

“I have been getting a great deal of flack because I supported George W. Bush as well. I think it is hard for most African Americans to understand why I would support a party that, in their minds, is against the poor, women, and minorities. But I am tough. I have been called all types of names when discussing politics.”

It takes strength to stick to your guns against a tidal wave of opposition, including from your own family.  The key to that strength is knowledge and wisdom.  My friend has both.  I asked him if he had always been a conservative or was there a particular issue that changed his mind?

“When I was young, I was a liberal, but I did not really know what that meant. The first time I could vote I voted for Walter Mondale.

“It began to change for me when I talked with this older guy who talked about how social programs have stifled the growth of Blacks in this country. Then I remember a rally in front of the White House when a Black woman stated that the Republican Party wants ‘...your children to starve to death.’ I knew that that statement was not true.

“I began to listen to the rhetoric that both parties use to get people to vote for them. I began to see how people in the black community were tied to the welfare system, and having more kids to stay on welfare. I started to look at conservative ideals and reading more about politics. I found myself agreeing with conservatives more than liberals.

“What is funny, if you break the issues down, one by one, most Blacks are actually fairly conservative. But we, as a people, are stuck on just a few issues.”

Yet his inner strength and wisdom has accepted the fact that indeed, most Americans are conservative.  It’s the rhetoric coming from the socialists that is clouding a lot of their thinking, rhetoric that is masking a socialist agenda.

The most damning statement from him concerning Obama is his pride that a black American has finally the opportunity to become President of the United States.

“I do think that Obama being nominated by the Democrats is a major deal for me. I am happy to see it happen. I would be happier if it was Colin Powell but that is another story. It matters to me, but not enough to make be vote for him. His political beliefs are too far to the left.”

He gets it!  He really gets it!

“I have a dream that my four little children will one day live in a nation where they will not be judged by the color of their skin, but by the content of their character”, is a quote from a black American named Martin Luther King.  King himself was once branded an “Uncle Tom” by radical socialist black Americans because he refused to be a victim.   One of the greatest things he ever employed in his fight against racism is the song “WE SHALL OVERCOME”.

Have black Americans overcome?  Have they become totally independent of all outside forces, including the American government, to become successes in life?  Or are they still clinging to the notion that they are victims and are demanding that America treat them as such?

Personally, I know of one who has shaken off his victim status and become an American just like me, one who worries about his family, his job, his mortgage, and his health and safety.   One who sees that government interferes with his success and believes he can accomplish great things if they stay out of his way.   He doesn’t worry about black and white.

My only problem I have with him is he is a Longhorn fan….but that is a discrimination that we all can live with!

What exactly is SCANDALIOUS?

A Vice Presidential candidate and mother who, despite her best teaching of the drawbacks of sex,  has a teenage daughter get pregnant at the age of 17, or a presidential candidate who has associated with a proud and unrepentant convicted domestic terrorist?

A Vice Presidential candidate who has a 4 month old child with down syndrome or a presidential candidate who spent 20 years of his life in a church where he is preached to on  "HATE" and "Evil  America"?

A Vice Presidential candidate, whose husband was arrested, 22 years ago, for a DWI or a presidential candidate who owns some sweet Hawaiian real estate, whose purchase was made through the help of a friend, who happens to be up on felony influence peddling charges?

Have you noticed that not one thing has been mentioned about the Vice Presidential candidate herself?  Only on those around her.   Is the our "professional journalist" hard at work to uncover all truth???   REALLY????

Yet the Presidential candidate, and the liberal lefts newest messiah, is NOT having to address his past.   Where are the NEW YORK TIMES  mention of this on their front pages?    Do you even know who William Ayers or Tony Rezko is?

I didn't think so!
